MikroTik Keeps Them Coming!
In addition to its new RB5009UPr+S+IN and a pair of brand new switches, one fo SMBs and the other for large enterprises and data centers, MikroTik has come up with a new 100G QSFP28 module while also giving a nod to the US/Canada market of the LTE hardware category.
US/Canada Rural Coverage Now Available!
Whether you're thinking about your cabin in the woods, a leisurely stroll out on a lack or a small residential area deep in the North American rural areas, as long as there is cell coverage, the SXT LTE6 kit-US will have your back.
With two Ethernet ports, one with PoE-in and the other with PoE-out, this US-certified device allows you to power another accompanying hardware in the vicinity, giving you the freedom to implement better, more effcient network coverage.
With an advanced LTE chip and a high-gain antenna of 9 dBi, the SXT LTE6 kit-US, already approved by AT&T with Verizon and T-Mobile to follow, can create reliable connectivity in rural areas where even your phone has no reception.
Moreover, with two Micro-SIM slots, you can enjoy a backup concerning mobile network coverage. And if that wasn't enough, this device runs on a Category 6 LTE modem with carrier aggregation, allowing it to use multiple LTE bands at the same time. Consequently, you'll have better responsiveness in the off-chance that your environment is crowded and will experience a greater efficiency concerning weaker signals in remote regions.
Unleash the True Potential of 100G
As mentioned a few times in previous discussions, the 100 Gigabit product line by MikroTik is here to stay, testimony to which is the growing number of hardware, interfaces and accessories that keep hitting the shelves.
Already, many MikroTik users have implemented 100G connectivity by introducing devices such the CCR2216, CRS504 and CRS518 into their networks.
Today, another 100G module has been introduced. This QSFP28 optical interface that goes by the name XQ+85MP01D, will provide you with four independent full-duplex channels with up to 25 Gbps per channel bandwidth and an aggregate bandwidth of 100 Gbps.
The XQ+85MP01D has been designed for distances up to 100 meters. It is equipped with built-in digital diagnostic functions such as optical power monitoring, and works with a 1 x 12 MTP/MPO connector.
