What Have We Covered?

In this video, after a brief introduction of Traceroute according to its reference pages on Wikipedia and MikroTik's Wiki, we discuss the notion of 'Hop' and hop count on wired computer networking, the traceroute window on WinBox, as well its Basic and Advanced features including:

 

  • Packet size and count;
  • Max hop limit;
  • Timeout limit;
  • Source address;
  • Out-interface; and
  • Routing tables.
