It appears that the hAP ax2, unofficially announced by MikroTik yesterday, wasn't the only Wi-Fi 6 device they have in store!

Following the notable experience regarding the launch of 5G and LTE18 with LMT – the leading mobile operator in Latvia – in which the Chateau managed to surpass the competition and replace the usual brands to bring about higher levels of client satisfaction, MikroTik is now bringing you enhanced versions of the client-favorite Chateau!

 

This popular access point, remarkable both in terms of performance and appearance that easily suits the needs and looks of different locations (e.g., traditional houses, luxury residences, offices, corporate environments, etc.), is now being offered with Wi-Fi 6, as well as 5G and LTE!

Built for Maximum Satisfaction!

Both devices run on a quad-core, 1.8 GHz CPU with a 1 GB RAM, enabling them to conduct heavy-duty operations like complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, and other advanced RouterOS features.

 

Furthermore, these devices enjoy the addition of a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port to their previous 4 Gigabit Ethernet
ports and also utilize a USB 3.0 port that will indeed come in handy for large data projects.

As for wireless connectivity, this Chateau duo enjoy Wi-Fi 6 similar to the newly-launched hAP ax2! With the Gen-6 802.11ax wireless standard and Wave 2 support, they deliver connection speeds like never before. You can think of approximately 40% and up to 90% faster speeds in 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz spectra, respectively!

 

Both products support MIMO 4x4: Chateau LTE18 on LTE and Chateau 5G ax on 5G and LTE. They also come with built-in LTE and LTE/5G antennas as well as optional external network antennas for maximum coverage and unwavering wireless signals.
