Remember when we were setting up our home lab througout the MTCNA course? We only had a few hosts on the network, and we could easily allocate static IP addreses to each of them manually.
What if you have a hundred IP hosts or more? You certainly wouldn't be able to spend time to set up each of them. That where Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol or DHCP comes in handy.
