Stay Connected, Faster than Before!
Even though new technologies come and go and the development of existing ones is always front-page news, the goal remains the same: Staying connected!
What does that mean, exactly? Fast and stable connectivity, anytime, anywhere!
And that is exactly what MikroTik's brand new ATL LTE18 kit is here to offer!
Let's Crack This Egg Open
This new UFO-shaped access point is an advanced technology-level directional LTE solution that will indeed unleash the true potential of your LTE base stations.
With a Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE-in, 256 MB RAM, a dual-core 1.2 GHz ARM CPU, and a capable Category 18 LTE modem that is bound to keep you ahead in the game for the foreseeable future, the ATL LTE18 kit is as capable as it is innovative, bringing you connectivity speeds of up to 1 Gbps without any pesky bottlenecks.
In addition to a powerful arrangement of hardware specs, the ATL LTE18 kit enjoys the 4x4 MIMO, that is, multiple-input, multiple-output support. This feature enables MikroTik's newest LTE device to accommodate more antennas, which, in turn, bring about higher speeds and stronger signals, exactly what we look for in an LTE device.
On a similar note, the spaceship design of this product helps it avoid water and snow build-ups or freezes that eventually leads to a sustained satisfactory performance even in harsher weather conditions.
Heading to the Outdoors Soon?
Cities are just half of the LTE game. The ATL's 4x4 MIMO, antenna range, and shape are all doubly effective when it comes to the outdoors and rural areas, even in areas where your phone has no signal!
It supports a wider frequency band range for lower band antennas with 4 high-gain middle band (1.7-2.7 GHz) and 2 high-gain low band antennas (700 MHz-1 GHz, LTE Band 28).
What's the significance, you wonder? It is twofold. Firstly, the 700 and 800 MHz LTE bands are quite popular frequency options used by almost all mobile operators around the globe; thus, ATL will always find some signal wherever you are. Secondly, lower frequency radio waves by nature itself travel very far, depending on a numer of factors.
But all this detail aside, ATL will have you covered. Why not listen to Normis talk about his love for alien tech?
The Future of LTE is Here!
The spaceship that is ATL LTE18 kit is a superb addition to the LTE arsenal of MikroTik hardware. It promises to deliver fast and stable connections in cold, snowy cities without the need to clean the antenna every other day, and you can expect fantastic performance in areas with modern base stations.
If you're interested to ramp up your cellular connectivity, regardless of being in urban or rural areas, may we recommend you test this new-gen LTE device?
