DHCP, which stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, bears the responsibility of easy and automatic distribution and assignment of IP host configuration information throughout a network. As a MikroTik user, sometimes you may come across a non-responsive or malfunctioning hardware with a dead RouterOS. If so, bear in mind that all is not lost.
